Venice today, during Carnival. A famous choreographer (Dick Marno) and her company of classical ballet are called to create a show that will be among the artistic events of the events related to the Carnival. For the same reason it is also called a famous rock singer (Bea Stravinsky) who, with his group of dancers funky, represent another show for the week of festivities. Patron and main sponsor of the event is a young, rich and eccentric Texan (Tina Cooper) who provides the rooms of his palace for the tests.
